The Vision

“Jesus is the answer to the questions most people aren’t asking.” This quote by Mike Pilavachi deeply resonated with me and inspired You Are Loved. I realized that sharing Christ often involved answering questions people weren’t even asking—yet the deepest, unspoken question for so many is, “Am I loved?”

In 2006, during my senior year of high school, I launched You Are Loved with a simple mission: to share God’s love through pins. With support from individuals and organizations, the first pins were made possible by an anonymous donation from my now-wife. Since then, hundreds of thousands of pins have spread across every major continent, fueled by donations and online orders.

The purpose is simple: to spark conversations and remind people of God’s love. These pins can’t love anyone on their own—we are the ones called to love. Let them inspire you to share Christ’s love in practical, tangible ways. As 1 John 4:19 says, “We love because He first loved us.”

FOUNDER

Dave Navarra founded You Are Loved in 2006 during his senior year of high school, inspired by God’s leading to share a simple yet profound message: you are loved. Starting with a hometown focus, the organization quickly grew, distributing hundreds of thousands of pins worldwide.

Dave has dedicated his life to helping people understand how deeply loved they are, ultimately pointing them to the greatest love of all: Jesus Christ. A passionate speaker and leader, Dave continues to trust God’s direction as You Are Loved reaches hearts across the globe.

In addition to founding You Are Loved, Dave has over a decade of pastoral ministry experience, has served internationally in Belgium, and now works in California as an Area Director for World Vision.
